The iRobot S9+ is not extremely loud when it's operating making it a great option for families with pets or children.
Eufy RoboVac Hybrid X8

The best ones are controlled and monitored using apps for smartphones, and some even have mopping tech for kitchen and bathroom floors. They're a great choice for busy families and are becoming more affordable. If you're looking for the most advanced technology for your robotic cleaner and you're looking to shell out a bit more.
The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid vacuum and mopping machine is a fantastic choice for those living in multi-floored apartments. Its dual motors offer impressive cleaning power and the 0.6l dust bin can hold a lot of pet hair. The dustbin can be removed and emptied without fuss, which is useful since you'll have to do it frequently.
It's easy to set up too, although I recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid before running it for the first time. Install the Eufy Home application and follow the instructions to connect it to your WiFi network. The app will then help you create a map of your house. You can label rooms and divide large spaces into sub-rooms (good for open plan living) and direct the X8 Hybrid to specific areas that need cleaning at a given time. Eufy's application is more user-friendly and refined than other robots with similar mapping and scanning functions.
The X8 Hybrid has a great feature: you can activate the mop or vacuum through voice thanks to the integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is a nice feature that makes the robot more hands-free. It was a success in our test house.
As with many robotic vacuums the X8 Hybrid has some issues with bare floors. It can miss pet hair and other small objects, and it is prone to bump into things - such as its own charger that sits on its charging base. It's not as quiet as other models we've tested, and the whirring sound could be distracting.
Roborock V3S pro
This robot doesn't have as many features as some of the more expensive ones we tested, however it does cover the basics. It has a huge dust bin that can hold a lot of dirt before needing to be empty. The mop and vacuum system is great for hard floors and carpets with a low pile. It's also super quiet, and we were able to sit and watch television while it was cleaning without feeling like it was bombarding us with noise.
Our testers loved how easy it was to install and use, and were amazed by its ability to get all the mess out of their floors. It also did a good job at removing pet hair and messes from carpeting, but it was less successful in tackling stubborn stuck-on stains. The users found the app to be user-friendly and intuitive, and were able to schedule the vacuum to clean on a regular basis to cut down on the amount they needed to do manually. The only drawback is that it does not have any mapping technology or object avoidance, which means you can't direct it to specific rooms cleaning robot mop and vacuum or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips work).
Another model from the iRobot's budget line that is the V3S Pro has some impressive features for the price. It is also very quiet and comes with a large dust bin which can hold plenty of debris before it needs to be emptied.
The V3S Pro did not make it onto our top choice lists from trusted sources who perform hands-on tests, but it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They liked how easy it was to setup and use, however they did note that its battery life was short and it didn't manage to avoid some of the most stubborn mess we've put it through.
